National Theatre workshops: King Lear in context
Dr Abigail Rokison is leading three workshops on King Lear in context with members of the National Theatre company.
An in-depth introduction to King Lear led by Dr. Abigail Rokison (Shakespeare Institute, University of Birmingham) with members of the National Theatre company.
The session will focus on Text and Language, (exploring different texts of the play and the choices open to a director, as well as verse vs prose in the play) and Character. There will be some practical work during the session.
