The School of Civil Engineering has made a number of excellent appointments over the past couple of months:
Dr Asaad Faramarzi
Lecturer
Research interests:
- Numerical simulation of reservoir
- Finite element modelling of geotechnical problems
- Simulation and prediction of inter-particle interaction of granular assemblies
- Design and optimisation of microstructures with unusual elastic behaviour
- Application of evolutionary computing in geotechnical and civil engineering problems
