Our late colleague Francesca Carnevali was co-winner of a prize for the best paper published in Enterprise and Society in 2013.
The Department has just learned that our late colleague Francesca Carnevali was co-winner of a prize for the best paper published in Enterprise and Society in 2013 (‘Pianos for the People: The Manufacture, Marketing and Sale of Pianos as Consumer Durables, 1850-1914’, with Lucy Newton).
It was published in Enterprise and Society, 14 (1). pp. 37-70 in 2013. As the first anniversary of Francesca’s death approaches, this is a fitting tribute to her as well as a reminder of what a fine historian she was.
