If you’re a fan of talent shows, you might know of The Neales - the four part family harmony group that wowed the nation on this year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent.
What you might not know is that is that one of the band members is a University of Birmingham Law School alumnus.
Laurie Neale, the father figure of the family four-piece, graduated with an LLB in Law in 1978.
Now working as a Managing Partner at England Stickland & Neale in Birmingham, Laurie created The Neales with his three sons and captivated audiences as the band competed in the live final, finishing as the highest placed band in this year's competition.
Laurie will be performing with The Neales at the Ruddock Centre, King Edwards School, opposite the University he attended as an undergraduate, on 20 November.
If you’re a fan of Britain’s Got Talent or want to support a fellow Birmingham alumnus, this is an event not to be missed.
