Birmingham Law School and the Institute of Judicial Administration are delighted to announce a new lecture series for 2015-16.

Topics and dates are as follows:

Monday 28th September 2015- Dr Kate Gooch and Dr James Treadwell (University of Birmingham)

Monday 19th October 2015 - Professor Ian O'Donnell (University of Dublin)
Surviving Solitary Confinement

Wednesday 4th November 2015 - Nick Hardwick

Wednesday 25th November 2015 - Professor Yvonne Jewkes (University of Leicester)
Prison architecture, design and technology and the lived experience of carceral space

Wednesday 3rd February 2016 - Dr Matthew Gibson (University of Liverpool)

March 2016 - Professor Jo Phoenix (University of Leicester) - date and topic TBC

All lectures will be held in Lecture Theatre 2 in the law school at 6pm to be followed by a drinks receptions in reception in the SCR.
