HSMC were delighted to host Associate Professor Dr Guohong Li from Shanghai Jiaotong University. The visit from Guohong looked to build on successful visit to Shanghai Jiaotong University earlier this year by Ross Millar. Ross was awarded a U21 Staff Fellowship to explore joint working with Shanghai Jiaotong University in the area of healthcare reform in China.

The visit was a successful one with Ross and Guohong continuing to develop research analysing the impact of healthcare reform on the workforce. Ross will visit Shanghai next year with plans to start new research projects examining the impact of recent reforms on the healthcare workforce and governance in China.
