PhD student wins conference prize

Rawan Saaty, PhD student in the Department of English Language and Applied Linguistics, has won the 'Best Paper' prize at the Eighth Annual Saudi Student Conference in London.

Congratulations to Rawan Saaty, PhD student in the Department of English Language and Applied Linguistics, for winning the ‘Best Paper’ prize at the Eighth Annual Saudi Student Conference in London, 31 January - 1 February 2015, for her paper entitled: Teaching L2 Metaphoric Vocabulary through Task-Based Language Teaching: An Experimental Study with Saudi University Learners.
