Professor Russell Mannion is a keynote speaker at an international conference hosted by St Hugh's College, Oxford - Improving Health and Health Services Through Research.
The title of the lecture is - Hospital Board Governance of Patient safety: Theory and Evidence- and will discuss the scale of patient harm in hospital settings drawing on recent international research in this area undertaken with colleagues in Australia, USA and Japan as well as the findings of the first national study led by Professor Mannion exploring the relationship between hospital board governance and patient safety processes and clinical outcomes across all NHS hospital Trusts in England.
