An expert psychophysiological research team are conducting a research study investigating how the mind and the body respond to cognitive tasks. With advanced techniques including MRI scanning, this study will assess cardiovascular, psychological, and neural responses.
The study is open to FEMALES aged between 18-30 years who meet the following criteria: no immune (e.g., glandular fever), cardiovascular (e.g., hypertension), metabolic, and kidney disease or conditions; no current illness; no prescribed medication in the last 4 weeks. No current fixed-teeth braces.
The study requires two visits to the School of Sport, Exercise, and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Birmingham University Imaging Centre, lasting 2.5 hours in total.
Upon completion you will receive an MRI scan of your brain as well as £10 compensation for your time.
