Between July and September 2016, ITSEE has welcomed a German exchange student to work alongside its team of researchers.

Carolin Müller, a student of English and Theology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, has just spent three months at ITSEE on a summer placement scheme within the Department of Theology and Religion.

As a trained student contributor at ITSEE's partner institution in Münster, Carolin already had extensive experience of working with Greek New Testament material. While at ITSEE, she made transcriptions of Galatians manuscripts and verified quotations of 1 & 2 Corinthians in the database being prepared for the International Greek New Testament's work on a new edition of the Pauline Epistles. She also assisted with the organisation of the Sixth British Patristics Conference. In addition, Carolin took part in a number of typically British activities with ITSEE staff including watching a county cricket match at Edgbaston and afternoon tea... in the rain!
