Professor David Gillborn was interviewed by the Washington Post for his analysis of the role that racism played in the build up to the EU referendum.

Gillborn emphasized that successive governments have laid the foundation for the toxic atmosphere that currently surrounds the topic of immigration and, in particular, the erroneous view of White working class children as race victims in education.
