Economics and Culture Reading Group

A new reading group to discuss recent significant scholarship at the intersection of economics and cultural studies, convened by Mo Moulton for BRIHC.

The agenda will be driven by the group’s interests, but topics might include: the history of economics as a field; markets and market economies; international development; alternatives to capitalism; and environmental economics and ecocriticism.

This reading group is convened by Dr Mo Moulton, lecturer in the history of race and empire, under the auspices of BRIHC, and is open to scholars and postgraduate students at every level.

The first meeting will take place on 28 September 2016, 3pm in the Arts Senior Common Room.  Regular meetings will commence in October. To register your interest, please contact m.moulton@bham.ac.uk
