DASA's Dr Maxim Bolt and Dr Benedetta Rossi received Honourable Mentions.
Dr Maxim Bolt and Dr Benedetta Rossi both received Honourable Mentions for the Melville J. Herskovits Book Award, announced last week at the African Studies Association annual conference in Washington DC.
This was for their recent books From Slavery to Aid. Politics, Labour, and Ecology in the Nigerien Sahel, 1800–2000 (Benedetta Rossi) and Zimbabwe's Migrants and South Africa's Border Farms : the Roots of Impermanence (Maxim Bolt)
