In a result that recognises our excellent learning environment, our School of Biosciences has been ranked third in the UK for biosciences subjects in the Guardian University League Tables 2017.

Dr Jeremy Pritchard, Head of Education for the School of Biosciences, says:
"Reaching the top three, alongside Oxford and Cambridge in the Guardian University Guide 2017 is a fantastic result for Biosciences at Birmingham and comes as a direct result of the active and ongoing partnership between students, academics, support and admin staff. We are delighted that this excellent result underlines the quality of the research-led learning delivered at Birmingham."
