Men are often forgotten both in terms of emotional support and reasons for miscarriage. That’s why we’re exploring male experiences of miscarriage, and working on tests and interventions with a focus on how their health could affect pregnancy. We aim to uncover and acknowledge the feelings, thoughts and behaviours that arise for men touched by pregnancy loss, and to explore how they come to make sense of themselves and the ended pregnancy. We also aim to show how sperm DNA damage could contribute to miscarriage, and to develop remedial treatment.
