
Professor Jocelyne Cesari’s new book Islam, Gender and Democracy in Comparative Perspective was launched by the Institute of Religion and Politics at the Australian Catholic University on 2 August 2017.
Dr Joshua M. Roose, Director of the Institute of Religion and Politics, served as introductory speaker. Professor Bryan S. Turner, Professor of Sociology and Religion at the Australian Catholic University and Distinguished Honorary Fellow of The Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion, was a discussant.
