The Institute of Metabolism and Systems Research is delighted to announce the Birmingham Pituitary Preceptorship International Meeting 2017 will be held 13-15 September 2017 at Winterbourne House and the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham.
The aim of the meeting is to support and develop the care of type 1 diabetic patients. Managing type 1 diabetes is now a highly specialised sub-speciality service. The idea is to supplement and enhance the training provided in the national SpR curriculum around type 1 diabetes. Newly appointed Consultants who are refining and adapting an established diabetes service will also find this course useful.
The meeting consists of keynote presentations, workshops, open debate and networking and is generously sponsored by Sanofi.
