The University of Birmingham and the English Institute of Sport are looking to offer one chartered physiotherapist an exciting opportunity.
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated physiotherapist who is striving for clinical excellence and is interested in moving into sport, to undertake a full-time MSc combined with one day a week placement with a world class sports science and medicine team.
The MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy focused to sport and leading to membership of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) will commence in January 2018. Completion will take 13-15 months, being dependent on the successful candidates’ commitments. The English Institute of Sport will provide a £4500 contribution towards the course fees with some additional funding available to assist with travel costs to Bath.
British Swimming (BS): It is anticipated that the successful candidate would be placed alongside the British Swimming Sports Science and Medicine Team and will normally be based at the EIS Bath HPC; however the EIS may also require you to travel to other sites.
Informal enquires can be directed to Dr Nicola Heneghan, Programme Leader Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy firstname.lastname@example.org or Paul Gould, Technical Lead Physiotherapist (Swimming) Paul.Gould@eis2win.co.uk
