The Crime Linkage International NetworK (C-LINK) has published its first paper in the Journal of Criminal Justice based on a study which compared the utility of different statistical methods in differentiating sexual crimes committed by the same person, from sexual crimes committed by different persons.

C-LINK, a network of academic and professional experts in the behavioural linking of crimes, was set up at the University of Birmingham in 2013 by Dr Jessica Woodhams. One of its aims was to collate the details of a substantial sample of sexual offences from different countries that could be used to rigorously assess important research questions in the area of crime linkage.
