Guild TV live stream New Music Ensemble performance
Staff and students involved in groundbreaking production.
On Saturday 25 February 2017, there was a concert of new music specially composed by members of staff in the Music Department, played by students of the University's New Music Ensemble and conducted by the director of orchestral studies Daniele Rosina.
This concert was filmed and live-streamed on YouTube by Guild TV, instigated by the efforts of a 3rd Year undergraduate Music student Daniel-Iustin Sandu. This really was an ambitious and exciting project, with new music composed and played in the University of Birmingham being given an online presence.
