Our first PANINI Publication
First experiments of DNA methylation analysis by Sequenom® MassArray Platform were performed by ESR 10. MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry was used to analyze levels of methylation of DNA previously extracted and bisulfite treated, at specific targeted loci.
- “The epigenetic landscape of age-related diseases: the geroscience perspective”, a narrative review focusing on the associations between epigenetics (DNA methylation) and age-related diseases, such as cardiovascular diseases, sarcopenia or frailty, was accepted for publication in Biogerontology (DOI: 10.1007/s10522-017-9695-7).
