CAP researchers, Lana and Maya, were at the Allergy Show at the Liverpool Arena representing their work and that of Dr Ruth Howard on coeliac disease.
Lana's research builds on previous work which attempts to unpick the relationship between body image, psychological well-being and eating attitudes and behaviours in people with coeliac disease. Last year, Ruth Howard conducted a study which recruited predominantly women, and this year Lana is building on this and recruiting men with coeliac disease allowing for a comparison study to see if there are gender differences.
This study utilises the new CD-FAB measure (Coeliac Disease - Food Attitudes & Behaviour), developed in the School of Psychology and CAP by Rose-Marie Satherley, Ruth Howard and Suzanne Higgs.
