Dr Dina Kiwan, Reader in Comparative Education, has been invited to speak at the United Nations Office in Geneva on March 20-21 for the occasion of the 2018 World Social Work Day which will focus on the topic of youth inclusion and participation.

The expert panel, "Promoting Youth Inclusion for Sustainable and Resilient Communities" will examine the issue of youth inclusion from a variety of perspectives, looking at key challenges such as marginalization, youth extremism, and unemployment, as well as possibilities for promoting youth inclusion and specifically engaging youth in participatory processes.
