Anand Menon, the Director of UK in a Changing Europe, gave a special talk on Brexit to staff and students in POLSIS. 

Professor Anand Menon visited POLSIS on 19 April to deliver a special talk on Brexit and British Politics to POLSIS. He examined a number of the challenges facing the UK in the coming months and assessed the possibility of another referendum, a resolution of the Irish imbroglio and the deep divisions in British politics.  After his opening remarks, he took probing questions from staff, students and guests including Malcolm Harbour a former MEP.   

The event was organized by the Head of POLSIS, Tim Haughton, and the Student Enhancement Officer Eleanor Woulfe, as part of the department’s commitment to providing platforms to discuss the major issues of the day with leading experts and to enhancing the student experience.
