PhD studentship applications for iDesign organic synthesis research projects now open

The University of Birmingham has joined forces with industry partners in the Netherlands and Germany to launch iDesign, an EU-funded training network that will train students how to prepare bespoke structurally and functionally diverse, three-dimensional molecules with desirable physicochemical properties for drug discovery.

Applications for PhD studentships on iDesign, The University of Birminham's cutting-edge organic synthesis drug-discovery research project, are now open.

The University is looking to recruit six students to this prestigious project. Applications should be made online via the University of Birmingham website. The closing date for applications is 19 March 2018. Details of the individual projects and how to apply can be found below:
