The School of Education is delighted to announce the appointment of Colin Diamond CBE as Professor of Educational Leadership
Professor Colin Diamond, at the time Executive Directive for Education in Birmingham City Council (BCC) is a renowned educational leader and national figure in education. He has served as Deputy Education Commissioner for the Department for Education and is consequently a respected source of advice to the UK Government.
Professor Diamond has now joined us in the School of Education as Professor of Educational Leadership and will lead the establishment of an Educational Leadership Academy.
