Research Fellow Emma Ferranti and Professor Lee Chapman’s 2017 article ‘A Perfect Storm? The collapse of Lancaster's critical infrastructure networks following intense rainfall on 4/5 December 2015’, with Dr Duncan Whyatt from Lancaster University, was one of the most downloaded recent papers in the 12-months post online publication. As of year-end 2017 the article has received 709 downloads, in addition to it appearing in glossy magazine format through the post-boxes of all members.

‘Weather’ is the monthly magazine of the Royal Meteorological Society.
