Dr Hannah Cornwell has recently contributed to two episodes for a BBC Radio 4 history programme, entitled 'When Greeks Flew Kites'.

The programme, host by broadcaster and novelist Sarah Dunant, examines moments in the past that help us frame issues we are facing in the present.  Hannah first joined Sarah to discuss Caesar's crossing on the Rubicon and the issues of brinkmanship in August 2017, and then in February 2018 to examine the art of securing a good deal, looking at negotiations between Rome and Parthia. Both episodes ('Take it to the Brink' and 'The Deal') are now available for download as podcasts (which are longer cuts than the original broadcast).
