World Mental Health Day

On World Mental Health Day, the 10 October, Lisa Bortolotti authored a Birmingham Perspective on how to change perceptions of mental illness.

Sophie Stammers and Lisa Bortolotti also wrote a post entitled "Overcoming Injustice in Mental Health" for the influential Mental Elf blog highlighting their work for project PERFECT and the importance of philosophy for raising awareness and promoting self-advocacy.

Finally, Lisa Bortolotti spoke with UK director Carol Morley about her new film, Out of Blue, presented at the London Film Festival this weekend: . Lisa was a consultant during the production of the film that depicts mental health struggles in a balanced and non-stigmatising way.
