The new field of epitranscriptomics determines the topography and dynamics of modifications in RNA. 

Matthias Soller from UoB and Rupert Fray from UoN compiled a special issue for BBAs Gene Regulation mechanisms to provide a comprehensive overview of the role of RNA modifications in the control of gene expression.
