Clare Tolley

Clare Tolley joined the Dentistry School whilst a GDC visit was taking place in November 2018, taking up the role of School Programme Manager.

Clare has worked at the University for over 20 years and has previously worked in a variety of roles within Admissions and more recently programme management. Clare was the Admissions Manager for the Colleges of Medical and Dental Sciences and Life and Environmental Sciences and CRB Manager before she moved to the School of Pharmacy as Programme Manager for the MPharm programme in October 2012. They admitted their first students in September 2013 and Clare and her team developed the administration processes and worked very closely with their academic colleagues. The first cohort of students for the Masters in Pharmacy graduated in 2017.

In November 2018 Clare moved to the School of Dentistry to take up the role of Programme Manager with this school. She currently manages, monitors and evaluates core administrative functions relating to the Undergraduate programmes within the School of Dentistry including: 

  • UG Programme administration     
  • UG Assessments, Progression and Graduation administration 
  • UG Student Compliance: Fitness to Practice, Conduct, Mitigation, Appeals and Professional Bodies’ Registration 

'Clare has been a breath of fresh air to the School of Dentistry ever since her arrival.
