Professor Jocelyne Cesari recently presented at an international seminar hosted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 'Women, Faith and Culture'.
In the talk, Jocelyne discussed women's rights, Islam and democracy, based on my co-authored book with Professor Jose Casanova (Georgetown University), 'Islam, Gender and Democracy in a Comparative Perspective'. Jose gave the 2018 Edward Cadbury Lectures on the theme of 'Global religious and secular dynamics and trends'.
