We have a new vacancy for a Communications and Marketing Officer at University of Birmingham Enterprise Ltd.  The company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Birmingham, takes research ideas and inventions into the commercial world, helps researchers develop and protect their inventions, obtain business funding, and we also support innovators and entrepreneurs with advice, training, and business incubation. 

Over the last three years we’ve concentrated on growing our reputation in the world’s media, developed our presence in social media, and publicised our patented inventions and spinout companies to investors and collaborators in academia and beyond. 

We’re now looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to help us capture and communicate the excitement of innovative technologies and novel social and business ventures, through conventional and social media.  We’re also refreshing our online presence, and are about to focus on internal communications and redesign our marketing materials so they reflect the exceptional work done by our team of specialists who ensure the University provides benefits the region and the wider world.
