On October 1 2020, Jocelyne Cesari and Jose Casanova hosted Tariq Modood  to discuss multicultural citizenship and how minority identities, including those formed by race, ethnicity, and religion, can be incorporated into national identities.

Jocelyn Cesari is the Chair of Religion and Politics, Director of Research, Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion in University of Birmingham. She is also a Senior Fellow, Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs in Georgetown University. Lastly, Professor Cesari is the President of the European Academy of Religion.
