We are delighted to announce that the Business School has been ranked 101-125 for subject areas Business and Economics in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2022.
The rankings this year have seen the Business School climbing from 161 in last year’s rankings, marking the School’s commitment to its education and enhancing its offering for students. The table for this year is made up of 795 institutions globally, up from 729 last year.
Professor Catherine Cassell, Dean of the Business School, comments, “It’s great to see our Business and Economics subjects performing well globally, and especially to see a year-on-year improvement. This reflects our ongoing investment in our teaching, and our continued approach to improving and tailoring our programmes to meet the needs of the ever-changing global business environment."
The ranking assesses universities by their performance in the following disciplines: business and management, accounting and finance, and economics and econometrics. The business and economics subject table uses the same trusted and rigorous performance indicators as the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit the individual fields.
