We’re delighted to announce that Birmingham Business School has been recognised in the Chartered Association of Business School’s Taskforce Report – How Do Business School’s Deliver Public Good?.
The report takes into account the contributions of UK business schools, and the growing need to be clearer about what aspects of the public good business schools deliver, and how this can be supported by stakeholders.
Birmingham Business School’s strategy and Responsible Business Committee have been featured as a case study for delivering public good in our own operations, as well as being highlighted as one of five business schools across the UK that can be described as ‘purpose-led’. This recognition shows how the School has embedded responsible business within its strategy by coordinating activity across its research, education and operations.
Professor Catherine Cassel, Dean of the Business School, commented, “It’s fantastic to receive external recognition for the way responsible business has been embedded within our strategy since 2018, co-ordinating activity across research, education, operations and external engagement. It is also a testament to the hard work and commitment of colleagues across the School – both academic and professional services – to progressing this agenda.”
