He was invited on to the show to discuss the seminal 1960s rock group The Velvet Underground, after the release of a new Todd Haynes documentary on the group's work and influence. Dr Pattie's co-edited book on the group- The Velvet Underground: What Goes On- will be published by Continuum in the new year.
