Why I chose to study by Distance Learning at the University of Birmingham
MA Music Research by Distance Learning student, Gabriella Vuzzutti, talks about why she chose Distance Learning and how she found us.
Gabriella began studying the Musicology MA Research programme part-time in September 2021. We asked how her journey to Distance Learning study began.
I discovered that I could study by Distance Learning through research of Universities that offered Research programmes that I was interested in. The University of Birmingham was one of the few Universities of its caliber that offered a programme that I wanted to study.
The main draw in my decision to apply for the University of Birmingham came from when I read recent publications by my supervisors. My decision to study by Distance Learning came primarily from my idea for my research proposal which is based around being in a international context.
