The importance and impact of B-Film: The Birmingham Centre for Film Studies and its collaboration with The Centre for World Cinemas at the University of Leeds was underlined by the House of Lords Report of Session 2013-14 from its Select Committee on Soft Power and the UK’s Influence.
B-Film and CfWC submitted a detailed account of film culture in relation to soft power which was cited several times in the final report entitled ‘Persuasion and Power in the Modern World’. You can download the full report here .
