Our Theology and Religion students can look forward to graduating with excellent prospects for the future as the latest figures show 100% enter work or further study within six months of graduation.

This figure was confirmed by the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey for 2015 graduates.

A degree in Theology and Religion from the University of Birmingham is highly sought after by employers as, not only is the subject highly relevant, our degree provides students with a wide range of transferable skills.

The degree is designed to aid employability with a compulsory placement module that offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, optional opportunities to study abroad and broaden your horizons, and a range of events held to introduce students to potential career paths and future employers.

Our Theology and Religion graduates go into a wide range of careers including law, journalism, teaching, publishing, marketing and charity administration with a wide variety of employers.

The latest DLHE figures come after the University of Birmingham was awarded University of the Year for Graduate Employment in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016.

"Winning our University of the Year for Graduate Employment award is testimony to the work done by the University to ensure its graduates leave ready to make an immediate and significant contribution to workplaces regionally, nationally and internationally."
Alastair McCall, editor of The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide
