Written in plain English, it offers a guide to the essential features of EU law in 125 pages. It assumes no prior knowledge of law or the EU and does not try to persuade the reader that the EU is a good or a bad thing.
It merely aims to ensure that people’s views on the EU are based on a proper understanding of its law and legal system. The book is particularly timely as the Brexit negotiations get underway.
