The ICCS Annual report showcases the activities, achievements, and publications from its researchers over the last academic year. Highlights include the publication of Prof Nicholas Wheeler's new book: Trusting Enemies, the launch of our new Political Psychology of International Relations MSc, and the developing partnership with Goethe University Frankfurt.

Research of note includes members of the Political Settlements Research Group (PSRG) creating a comprehensive dataset of peace agreements in intra-state conflicts (PAIC). The dataset – comprising over 300 peace agreements concluded between 1989 and 2017 – is designed to provide insights into settlement strategies that promote resilience and longevity. The work on Responsible Nuclear Sovereignty continues to go from strength to strength with the award of a collaborative DTP scholarship in partnership with the British American Security Information Council (BASIC), commencing October 2018.

The report also contains news from our postgraduate research community, together with brief updates from our alumni.

As we celebrate a successful year for the ICCS, we look forward to continuing the work in 2018/19.
