IRiS Deputy Director, Dr Nando Sigona, has been invited to give his expert insight on the potential impact of Brexit on family life for a panel discussion chaired by Jean Lambert, Green Party MEP. 

The event is called Leaving the EU: the Impact on Human Rights, and takes place in London on 16th March 2018. 

The panel discussion is part of a conference, organised by New Europeans, together with the European Association for the Defence of Human Rights (AEDH), Britain in Europe and Brunel University Knowing Our Rights project, aims to explore the potential impact of the UK exiting the European Union on a number of areas of individuals' rights.

The conference will examine areas of human rights under threat for EU citizens and UK citizens, covering issues associated with new arrangements for EU citizens living in the UK. Implications for others living in the UK where rights protected by EU legislation or instruments may be affected, will also be addressed.
