This month (October 2018) Professor Susan Hunston will travel to Guangdong University of Guangzhou City, to deliver a five day workshop on ‘Patterns and Constructions in Language Teaching and Lexicography’.
Designed for language teachers, lexicographers and applied linguists, the workshop will take place on 15-19 October 2018. It will provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the concept of Pattern Grammar and its applications to English language learning and teaching and to the lexicography of English.
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies is internationally known for its work in Applied Linguistics, Translation, and Lexicography. It is host to China’s National Key Research Centre for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. The workshop will be open to participants from throughout China as well as to students and scholars from GDUFS.
