Early bird booking ends soon for the 2019 UK Science Park Association conference (2-3 April) which will be held at the University of Birmingham.
The conference is jointly organised by S-Lab and UKSPA, and the sessions will cover issues including city-led innovation, building places for innovation, company growth from start-up to scale-up, how industry benefits from academic partnership, efficiency in laboratory operations, and much more.
University of Birmingham Enterprise is a platinum sponsor of the event. All conference sessions will be held on the University campus, and there will be a pre-conference day on 1 April at MIRA Technology Park in Coventry to allow delegates to experience cutting edge motor engineering.
Birmingham has a long history of innovation, and the city is the inventive home to gadgets as diverse as the photocopier, the electric kettle and the bicycle bell. Founded in 1900, the University of Birmingham was England’s first civic university, where students from all religions and backgrounds were accepted on an equal basis.
