Anglian Water Internship opportunity

Anglian Water are now offering an exciting opportunity within their Water Resources Graduate Scheme.

Sarah Underhill, the Asset Performance Manager, Water Resources at Anglian Water Services is keen to offer an opportunity for current students to apply for an internship programme within the Water Resources Team. This is a full year placement where the successful candidate will spend time across a number of the following teams to give them the skills and knowledge that will help prepare them for a senior role in Water Resources Management:

  1. Groundwater and Surface Water - opportunity to learn about groundwater and surface water modelling, water quality, borehole design and construction, environmental assessments, the impact of climate change, asset investment and drought planning.
  2. Supply Demand Strategy - learn how we maintain the balance between water supply and demand against a backdrop of growth, climate change, drought and environmental pressures.
  3. Groundwater Engineering - actively contribute to asset investment planning, failure mode analysis, safety management and borehole maintenance.

They are looking for a university student studying a degree in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Natural Sciences or Geography, along with a genuine interest in the water industry.
