This project is a result of a desire for the University of Birmingham to improve the student experience with feedback. The project is funded by HEFi with the aim of improving the current feedback system and improving student’s perception on feedback.
An initial tool was developed in 2018 which was an offline version allowing more effective marking. The current version of SWiFT has been improved to allow for advanced analytics and sharing of feedback via a server side web application. This allows for the tracking of feedback consistency and sharing of templates across markers.
