We are delighted to announce that Prof. Xiaohui Liu has been appointed the Treasure of the Academy of International Business-UK&I (AIB-UK&I) and Prof John Child has been awarded the John Dunning Lifetime Achievement Award by the AIB-UK&I chapter during the 46th Annual Conference at the University of Sussex on Saturday 26 April 2019.
The AIB-UK&I is the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business in the UK and Ireland. It is the largest chapter of the worldwide AIB (https://www.aib-uki.org).
What is more, we are also pleased to say that Prof. Oded Shenkar and Prof Xiaohui Liu will be awarded the Gold and Silver Medals (respectively) during the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) 50 Years Celebration 1970 – 2019 at the upcoming Academy of International Business (AIB) Annual Meeting in Copenhagen, in June.
The Gold Medal is for scholars with at least 11 substantive contributions while the Silver Medal is for scholars with at least 5 substantive contributions in JIBS in the first 50 years
The JIBS is an official publication of the AIB and is ranked as a 4* ‘World Elite’ journal in the Chartered Association of Business Schools’ Academic Journal Guide 2015 - the highest quality ranking possible.
