Professor Stephen Busby is one of five senior academics awarded Professorships with the Yusuf Hamied Programme.
Established with a gift from the Yusuf and Farida Hamied Foundation in 2017, the programme aims to bring the Indian and international scientific communities closer together.
The programme also supports the Royal Society’s strategic priorities of supporting international collaboration and promoting excellence in science.
