Two days ago, Janine undertook a training session in Sarajevo with the project’s new partner organization, Association XY.
Six members from the NGO took part in the training, including the Executive Director Emina Osmanović, as well as six young people who are peer educators and volunteers at the organization. The training introduced the background to the project and its aims, the project achievements so far and the realities of sexual violence stigma (and self-stigmatization) in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Discussions centred on the Manual for Sex and Relationship Education and on the campaign that will be developed in the coming months.
In a project that is heavily focused on young people, the feedback and input of the peer educators – who will play a central role in developing the campaign – was especially valuable. The campaign will be launched early next year.
